- Check your eligibility (age, residency, disability impact)
- Gather evidence (reports, medical letters)
- Submit an Access Request (NDIS 1800 800 110 or email enquiries@ndis.gov.au)
- Wait for the NDIS to assess your application.

Access requests are submitted through the Local Area Coordinator (Uniting) in Batemans Bay.

Plan Management
Led by a qualified Certified Public Accountant (CPA), Yumaro NDIS Plan Management team supports participants to manage the financial side of their NDIS plan, giving you maximum control over your plan funds and information and where they are being utilised. You don’t have to handle money, make payment requests, or process invoices and pay your providers – this is all taken care of by our Plan Management Team.

Detailed Budgeting
Yumaro go the extra mile to track your expenditure against the individual service agreements you have with each provider. This helps stop your budget being overspent by one provider and then leaving you unable to pay for supports with another provider.

The NDIS can seem daunting from the outside. Yumaro can support you through the complete process; applying for a plan, including reviewing your documents and assisting you to lodge your application.
Plan management is when a company such as Yumaro pays providers who have delivered services or items to NDIS participants on their behalf. As your chosen Plan Manager, we will communicate with providers about your invoice, request payment from the NDIS and pay it through to your service provider. Plan management at Yumaro is simple and allows you to have more flexibility to get the most from your plan.
There are NO out of pocket costs to participants who choose to use Plan Management.
Payment for your Plan Management service is provided through your NDIS plan, this is a stated support under the “Improved Life Choices” category. This means the funds are only available for plan management and won’t take away funding for other important supports you may need.
Yumaro provide an extensive range of funded supports under the NDIS such as:

- Plan Management
A Support Coordinator will help you find and engage suitable providers to help you work towards and achieve your goals. These providers could be NDIS providers, community providers and mainstream providers. Your Support Coordinator will help you establish service agreements with your chosen service providers. We understand that it can be confusing and time consuming to engage services on your own, which is why your Yumaro Support Coordination is here to help.
Having a Support Coordinator will assist navigating through the NDIS processes and help you feel prepared for any NDIS meetings you might have, they will collate any reports from therapists or providers and complete their own progress report for the NDIA planner/LAC to review and make their funding determinations for your plan.
