Yumaro Community Partners Grant

Yumaro aims to provide financial (and other) support to at least one community organisation each year that will assist people with a disability in our local communities to better engage in all the opportunities that life has to offer.
Who can apply: If you are a registered charity or incorporated not for profit organisation
How much: An organisation can be awarded a single grant of up to $5000
How do I apply (selection criteria):
- Email us on enquiries@yumaro.com.au or call 44743336 and request information pack for our Community Grant program – Community Partners. We will send you the link to apply online
- When we have given you the online link, provide a written submission or a video recorded submission using the attached form that responds to the following selection criteria:
- Tell us about your organisation – include ABN (max 150 words)
- How will this money support people with a disability to better engage in opportunities within our community. This may include creating or improving access to community infrastructure and or supporting engagement in sport, artistic or academic pursuits for people with a disability (max 500 words)
Assessment: the awarding of these grants is based on the applicant’s responses to the selection criteria and are at the sole discretion of the Board and senior management of Yumaro. Assessment panel will be made up of a combination of Board Directors and senior management staff. The assessment panel may ask for referees to further explore the merits of any application.
Terms and Conditions for successful organisations
- Grant monies are generally provided as a reimbursement for money that you have spent (evidenced by receipts). In some cases grant monies can be provided upfront – an unpaid invoice / quote needs to be presented for this to be considered for approval.
- You have 18 months from the date the grant is made to use the grant funds
- Provide a report (no longer than 500 words or via video) to Yumaro within one month of the expiration of the grant using the online form that we will send you
- Agree to and sign the Grant Agreement (provided separately)

Yumaro Individual Achievement Grants
2024 to 2025

Description: Each grant is available as a one-off payment to enable individuals who need financial assistance to take their engagement in sport, artistic endeavour, academic pursuits or employment to the next level.
You will need to demonstrate how the funding will assist you to get to the next level. The winners of this grant will be those who don’t just watch a show, but star in a show; they won’t just play in sport, but compete at the next level; they won’t just do a painting but host an exhibit; and so on…
Who can apply: If you are 15 to 65 years of age, living with a disability (evidenced by holding a current NDIS plan) and a permanent resident of the Eurobodalla Shire or the southern zone of Shoalhaven City Council below Wandandian
How much: Each individual can be awarded a single grant of up to $1000.
How do I apply (selection criteria):

- When we have given you the online link, provide a written submission or a video recorded submission by completing our online form which will ask you to respond against the following criteria:
- What is the goal you are trying to achieve?
- What have you done so far on your journey to this goal and where are you up to now?
- What do you need to do to get to your goal?
- What will you use the funding for if you are successful?
